lawn strimming

There are different ways to use a grass simmer and the best lawn strimming techniques ultimately depends on the task at hand. Here are some of the most effective strimming techniques for various lawn mowing tasks:

Edging- is the best technique to use when you want to create a defined edge along the sidewalk or boundary of the grass lawn. Simply tilt the trimming head at a slight angle to the ground and then keep moving along the edge, cutting to the height of your lawn.

Trimming long grass- don’t force the trimmer to make heavy cuts when trimming dence accumulation of tall grass or weeds over 8 inches high. in such cases, it is best to trim from the top and work your way to the bottom small chunks at a time.

Lawn Mowing-When using a streamer to mow your lawn, it’s most efficient to cut systematically in swathes. You can move back and forth but it’s easier to keep track of the cutting path when slowly moving the trimmer head in a side-side motion.

Scalping-Scalping allows you to remove unwanted grass from around trees. To apply this technique, simply use the nylon wire at a 30-degree angle to the ground and let it cut weeds or unwanted grass from the roots.
